Over the years, State Grid has built the world's largest smart internet of vehicles architecture in China, connecting more than 1.4 million charging piles nationwide and serving about 9.3 million new energy car owners, he said.
(Executive editor: Wang Ruoting) A press conference was held on Nov 20 to announce that the smart vehicle online platform of State Grid Corporation of China (State Grid) had connected to more than 1.03 million charging piles in 273 cities of 29 provincial regions.
The smart charging will help lower charging costs and improve utilization of the charging facilities while ensuring safe operation of the power grid. Next, State Grid will encourage users with small and medium electricity demands to participate in the market and lower the impact of the scattered power load on the main grid.
State Grid Corp's Laiwu branch in Jinan, Shandong province, is among the local power suppliers that are revving up efforts to facilitate the charging process for electric vehicles.
