Solar street lights are designed to be essentially maintenance-free. However, in certain regions with extreme conditions, some level of maintenance is required to ensure the proper function of the lights. These regions are typically where there is a risk of dust, snow, or ice covering the solar panels and thus reducing the power of the lights.
Every 2 Months: Inspect street light panels and clean them which are covered with dust or sand. Use clean water to clean the solar panel from the top to the bottom with soft cleaning cloth. Every 5-7 Years: Replace the solar street light batteries if the voltages drop below normal levels. The battery has an expected life of 5-7 years.
Lamp pole threading: use thin iron wire to pass the matching lamp cable through the lamp pole and then lead it out through the hole of the lamp arm. Solar lamp arm threading: Use a thin iron wire to lead the lead wire of the light source out of the lamp arm, and remove the insulation at both ends of the wire for wiring.
1) Make sure the street lamp lead wire is not shorted or open. 2) Check whether the lamp beads of the street lamp are burned or have dirt residue, and the street lamp should be replaced with a new one and cleaned in time. 3) The working life of the street lamp is exhausted, so replace it with a new one in time.
